How to Create a Low Content Book to Sell on Amazon

In this video, I’ll show you how to create a simple low content book using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator; a book that you can sell on Amazon, as a way to promote your hobby related YouTube channel. For those of you who don’t have access to Adobe software, I’ll also show you where you can find and download free software to not only create your book’s interior, but the cover as well.

This video also contains speed design footage that I recorded while creating one of my own promotional book covers. As well as a bunch of useful tips to help you create a professional looking book cover of your own.

Now my part time hobby is drawing; and the majority of the illustrations that you’re going to see me create on this website over the coming years, will have been created for children’s products. Whether it be picture books, story books, coloring books or just some kind of activity book, with the exception of the occasional adult t-shirt design, the majority of my artistic work will be utilized in children’s products.

And the book that I’ll be using in today’s tutorial, is no exception. I’m a firm believer in learning something new every day. It’s a habit that I picked up from my father. I also think that it is extremely important to write things down, if you truly want to retain that information. And it’s for those reasons, that I created this book.

This is the Learn One New Thing Every Day Book. It’s a 365 page daily journal for kids that encourage them to not only learn something new every day, but to write it down as well. I firmly believe that just spending a few minutes every day learning something new, is enough to fuel a child’s creativity, as well as build their self confidence. Because you never know when one little piece of information, could spark a lifelong passion that will take them down a completely different path in life.

So if there’s a child in your life whose creativity could use a little refueling, and you’d like to support my artistic journey at the same time, this book is available on Amazon.

As always, if you have any questions about what I’m doing here, feel free to leave them in the comment section below. And if I use your question in a future video, I’ll be sure to give you a shout out in the video.

In my next video, I’ll walk you step by step, through the entire process of publishing a book, using Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing. So if you’ve ever thought about self publishing, then you’re not going to want to miss that video.

That being said, check out the video.
